Services include talk therapy, mindfulness and experiential body-based practices, psychodrama techniques, and psychoeducational services (DBT).

I offer a free initial 15-minute consultation to see if I am a good fit for you. I can help answer any questions you may have such as my fees and insurance coverage, my services, and discuss what brings you to counselling.
Face To Face Individual Counselling
Individuals can self refer or ask for a referral from their family physician for an appointment. Walk in services are also available if there are openings.
Face To Face Family Counselling
In office appointments for more than one participant.
Telephone Sessions
If you are unable to visit my office, please reach out and I can support you via telephone.
Online Sessions
If you are unable to visit my office, I also offer online video counselling.
Home Visits
For individuals in the CBS and close surrounding areas who are unable to visit my office due to concerns such as health problems or transportation, I offer home visits once a week.

Fees
Fees will be collected at the beginning of the session and proper documents will be provided for insurance purposes. This allows us to focus on YOU once we start our session. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your first appointment to complete required paperwork.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP):  You may have coverage through your workplace Employee Assistance Program (EAP) .  Direct billing is available for most Employee Assistance Programs. Some programs are cost-shared with your employer.

Health Insurance:  In the case of Health Insurance, most plans allow for reimbursement when you provide your receipt.  Health insurance plans will usually require a referral from your doctor.

Ruah Counselling Centre provides individual, couple and family counselling in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, anger, worklife challenges, life transitions, parenting and interpersonal relationships.
Fee Structure Policy for Counselling Services:
Clients with a yearly income below $30,000.00 are eligible for no fee.
Clients with income above $30,000.00 will pay one percent of their yearly income, rounded to the nearest $5000.00. For example, a client with a yearly income of $32,000.00 per year will pay $30.00 per session. A client with an income of $58,000 would pay $60.00 per session.
Clients with a yearly income of over $75,000.00 will pay $75.00 per session.
For clients who are referred to counselling by a specific agency, the referring agency will be charged the standard fee of $75.00 per session.
For clients who have health insurance that covers counselling services, the client or insurance provider will be charged $75.00 per session.
